I am the Program Manager executing operations and services for the Latino Collection and Resource Center at San Antonio Public Library. In this role, I Lead the charge in bringing Latinx literature to life by developing culturally responsive programs for all ages.I am a 2016 & 2020 NTEN/Google Fiber Digital Inclusion Fellow, 2018 Library Journal Mover & Shaker, and hold a B.A. in Communication Studies from Indiana University where I focused on labor studies, social change, and community activism. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration at the University of Texas at San Antonio and putting the "chola" back in scholar.
